Let Us Be Your Guide on your Imlil Day Trip to the highest point of the Atlas mountains

Our driver will pick you up from your hotel or hostel at 9am so we can start our day trip to Imlil.

Imlil is a Berber village at the foothills of the Atlas Mountains in Marrakech. It is 1,740 meters (5,700 ft) above sea level and is about 65 kilometers (40 miles) south of Marrakech. Experienced mountain guides will take you on the trek starting from a series of small Berber villages. We passed the Sidi Chamharouch mountain shrine. We are now over 8,000 feet above sea level and within easy reach of our mountain lodge. Your tour from Marrakech will stop for a picnic lunch prepared by our chef and take a short break before heading up the mountain. There is a sanctuary at 10,500 feet above sea level where you can enjoy a delicious mint tea. Most of the climb will be uphill, taking about four hours (including short breaks along the way).

You get nuts, oranges, and water, and the higher we climb, all the distant vistas and grandeur we see. After reaching the top, you can rest for about 45 minutes before heading back the same way. Here you can take pictures and enjoy your ascent to the highest peaks of the Atlas Mountains starting from Marrakech. From here your excursion in morocco ends and we will take you back to Marrakech.
