Day 1
Discover the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi and the Southern Morocco’s wonderful oasis
Your departure for your 5-day desert tour from Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga, will be from riad/Hotel around 8:30 towards the Sahara desert, where the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi are will be waiting for you. Your excursion will take you 8 hours to cross the Atlas Mountains to the Southern Morocco’s wonderful oasis : Tafilalet, the astounding berber villages, palmers, and Erfoud and Rissani as two main Saharan towns.
Our first stop will be at the alpine town of Ifrane. Our next destination will be Azrou cedar forest where the local monkeys is a typical scene .The second stop will be at Midelt for lunch, then our Morocco tours shall continue to Ziz valley with its panoramic and astonishing views over the palm trees, the green valley breaking the monotony of the Sahara desert. Then we will head for the Erg Chebbi sand dunes.
We will go further into the desert landscape until the sand dunes come to sight in the middle of nowhere. The end of the day will be in hotel with a pool where you can dive for relaxation, and where you enjoy the Moroccan cuisine for Dinner & night at the dune line of Erg Chebbi.
Day 2
Explore Merzouga area, rejoice the Gnawa music and taste the Berber pizza in the historical capital of Rissani
The second day will be an opportunity for you to explore the sahara desert and the marvels of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes. We will go for an exceptional circuit experiencing the ups and downs of the desert dunes whereby you will seize the day to see the nomad’s style of life and the msmerizing moving sands of the Sahara desert.
Our Morocco Tours includes a visit to the “black village” of Khamlia to rejoice the Gnawa music.while tasting a traditional Berber pizza for lunch in the historical capital of Rissani. At noon, a ride of the camels is going to be an enjoyable ingredient in the day’s recepient for you to contemplate the sunset over the dunes. Day 3
Get ready to be amazed by Todra Gorges & Dades Gorges
If you wake up late you will miss the best sunrise ever- a splendid view of a scene casting generously different shadows and colors over the waves of sand dunes. Such a view will triger your appetite for a delicious typically- made breakfast you enjoy once back to the desert hotel.
We will drive to Tinghir and the stunning Todra Gorge described as the narrowest gorges in Morocco, which is a spot for hiking and relaxing on the bank of the river, and having adelicous lunch. We will drive through the Dades Valley, where the day of our excursion from your Morocco vacation packagescomes to an end, the night will be in a nice hotel at the top of the mountain.
Day 4
Relish the road of 1000 Thousand Kasbahs and teh Berber villages
We will have our breakfast and begin our 04 days tour from Fes to Marrakech along the road of 1000 Thousand Kasbahs, get ready to be amazed by all the spectacular kasbahs, the ruined and restored ones on both sides of the road.
We will hit the road through Dades valley all the way up to the magnificient mountainous area through an off-road trail to meet many Berber villages and to get in touch with a unique life style of the nomads living in the caves, you are invited to visit one of these families and learn about their daily routine and activities while looking after their goats and sheep.
the landscape of the colorful rose valley will impress before reaching the Skoura palm grove. After 45km further, we are finally in the city of the famous cinema movies : Ouarzazate, where we will take dinner and spend the night at the hotel.
Day 5
Get ready to be fascinated by Ait Benhaddou known as a World Heritage Site by the Unesco
During the last day of our Day Trips from Fes, we will pay a visit to Taourirt Kasbah before leaving to Ait Benhaddou known as a World Heritage Site by the Unesco. Then, we will keep on exploring the traditional High Atlas Berber village of Telouet and the Kasbah el Glaoui.
We will have lunch in a traditional restaurant located in Telouet before heading for Marrakech through the Tizi-n-Tichka where our 5 days desert tour from Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga Sahara ends.
